
| Health & Family Welfare CHILD AND MOTHER HEALTH CARE CENTRE: Name of Donor : Self Year of Start : 1993 Year of completion : 1996 Achievements: SRISHTI established a Child and Mother Heath Care in Uttar Dhauna Village of Chinhat Block in Lucknow catering to ten surrounding villages. The centre was run on a daily basis with the help of paramedics and once a week through an MBBS MD doctor, a male and a female nurse and a pharmacist. Apart from giving free medical advice and prescription, free medicines, investigations were also done at the centre for women and children below twelve. Several community health programs were also taken up in the area during this period. The patients belonging to lower segment of society were distributed free medicines. Liaisoning services were provided for population stabilization, RCH and Family welfare. This program was self funded. NATIONAL SEMINAR ON MANAGEMENT OF INDIAN SYSTEMS OF MEDICINES AND DYNAMICS OF LIFE STYLE Name of the Donor : Planning Commission, Government of India Year : June 2006 Area of Coverage : All India – Participation from Delhi, Uttaranchal, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka and UP Achievement : A two days national seminar was organized in which 110 participants from various disciplines and corners of the nation participated. NBRI, CDRI, CRIUM, CRI (Ayurveda), CEE (NR), CIMAP, GIDF, RCUES, Lucknow, were represented through their delegates. Overall 45 papers on various issues related to Ayurveda, Yoga, Unani Medicine, Life style Induced Diseases & Disorders and Traditional Healing etc were presented by the participants.
